User Authentication

COLIGO is a single-user application and is secured by a string password. This ensures that only authorized users can access the application and its features.

How Authentication Works​

  • Password Protection:
    Access to COLIGO is protected by a string password.

  • Password Setup:
    When COLIGO starts for the first time, you must set a password before you can access the application.

  • Single User:
    Only one user can be logged in at a time. There are no multi-user or role-based permissions (yet).

  • Automatic Logout:
    If the screen is not active (user idle), the application will automatically log out after 10 minutes. If the screen remains active, the session will automatically log out after 12 hours. The application will also log out the user if the browser tab is closed or if the page is hard-refreshed.

Step-by-step​

Setting the Password on First Start​

  1. Open COLIGO after starting the device for the first time.
  2. Enter a password and confirm it.
  3. After confirming the password, you are logged in automatically.

Logging In​

  1. Open COLIGO.
  2. Enter your password.

Changing Your Password​

To change your password from the login screen:

  1. On the login screen, click Want to change your password?.
  2. Enter your current password to confirm your identity.
  3. Enter your new password and confirm it.
  4. After successfully changing your password, you will be returned to the login screen and can log in with your new password.
